I was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1997. My father was an auto engineer and my mother was a tax accountant. Growing up, I spent most of my time alone exploring fun things. My mom always yelled out my name in the neighborhood to find me for dinner.
Then, I moved to the U.S. at the age of ten, learning english in a school called Evergreen Elementry in Spanaway, WA. After, I attend Washington High School in Tacoma which heads me toward the University of Washington in Seattle.
01. From?
I sold graphic PSD files when I was 16, reselled clothes and shoes after that to make some money while attending school. Then, I became a dishwasher in a cafe which later I was promoted as a barista. Afterwards, I got deeply interested in understanding customer psychology to start studying on human psychology, business, and design.
I was able to manage a small Korean restaurant by helping them reach 28% profit-margin increase and a scalable system during a one-year term.
02. What?
Today, I am currently working at Din Tai Fung as a Food Runner and Cashier to experience new perspectives, while, learning about product design in the web to change my career direction for my new obsession.
I am learning to design, code, and work with teams to research customers and approach problems in a psychological perspectives to help users have a blast.
03. Now?
I am usually doing push-ups, eating out, or playing games with my girlfriend attending a law-school. Been keeping myself busy with nutrition habits while maintaining my reading habits.
I dreamed of The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, learned life with Nietzche, and currently following the Principle by Ray Dalio. Favorite author is Yuval Noah Harari from the Sapiens.
04. Hobbies?
I am a big fan of Christopher Nolan, Frederich Nietzsche, and Yuvaal Noah Harari. Intellectual stimulations and curiosity always drives my motivation.
I have watched Inception over 10 times and still not bored of it.
